Hey,

Just wondering if anyone here plays poker?

Do you play online or live games?

What limits do you play?
If anyone is up for a game on a room let me know

I play daily on a few rooms.

I live about 35 minutes from Detroit so I play at the casinos. Nothing big, $100 buy in $1 and $2 blinds. Not a fan of online poker though. Too many bad beats

You just gotta learn online poker tells

Playing online does come down to odds a lot more than offline but there are still always tells to stop bad beats.

There are only bad beats because you play a lot more hands online in a time span then you would at a live table. I play online but I have been cutting back as I have been on a losing streak...My winning streak before hand was on SnG $50+5 at Absolute Poker where I won 36 games, lost 5...now I have lost like almost every game I play...that's why I switched to sportsbetting and casinos for the time been :D

There is also a good chance of you losing money actually. If you don't have a whole lot of money (millions) to invest, and don't mind taking the risk, your almost guaranteed to fail.

i play online with play cash at one of the major poker sites, but don't really play at any casino. have to agree with "keithmt", online poker has way too many bad beats.

I play mainly SNG's and MTT's online. I prefer tournament play to cash in any venue online, or live. If you play online cash games you must be VERY disciplined and make good plays to be a winner in the long run. The sheer amount of hands you play (especially if you are multi-tabling) will produce what feels like alot more bad beats. Most successful online cash players I know use software to "track" other players hand histories. This software analyzes info and gives users percentages and other numbers which help analyze other players based on their tendencies.
