Anyone here use eBay Store to sale Domains?

I am thinking about to set me ebay store to get more potential buyers for my Domains ($15.95 monthly fee). I don't know such a store would work for my Domain businss or not...

I visited some ebay stores for domain business, looks all of them ask very crazy high price for any domains. Any buyer would go to eBay and search for this?

It would be my pleasure if anyone could share his/her experience on eBay Store business for Domains.

Jamie does almost all his business on Ebay - and does decently. He sells domain names daily from his pickups. I think he sells them for less than they are worth or he could hang onto - but he does convert!

I never had an ebay store But if you check some of the sales at ebay they go up & down, Some names do well while others dont sale at all.
IMO, ebay is risky but then again so is the domain industry.

If you plan on just registering a bunch of domains in hopes to strike it big on ebay IMO dont bother. You will be better off investing in one or two premium domains.

I would have a try. Plan to set my Store in 10 days then run it for 2 months. I will update here to report what happened for my Store. $15.95 is the cost for 2 new registrations only, that should not impact the businnes.

My strategy is asking reasonable price: Higher than reseller price but little lower than enduser price. Let us see what would be.

Understand that an eBay store will not get as many views as an auction. It will take longer to sell but the selling cost should be lower. But be aware - it is now fee increase season and stores have been slammed with increases recently. The eBay brass I think are auction people and truly hate the stores.

But short answer - it is slow and the prices you get are low but you can sell domains from an eBay store.
