Anyone Having Problems with Optikhosting.com?

Hi, i've been with them for nearly a Year with Zero problems,
but now my sites have been offline for over 12 hours (i've
tracked other downtimes) and i'm usually receiving late
support.

I've also referred some friends to optik but now don't know
if they are in business or not.

Anyone having their sites offline?

Hope they return to their Good Service.

Also, have you tried contacting them through another support channel or anything? Even a phone number in the whois details might be worth it.

Down at all. It's a BIG Downtime (and no reply at all).

I have backups of some sites. I will think what to do.

As far as I know, it's only one NP member optikhosting that runs it, so if he's away you may not get a response.

Yes... Ron. These are the things that you don't want to see till a moment
like this comes...

He's a Good Man and helped me in many times but i don't know if he
got tired of what he is doing or what.

I think it's time to move.

It's Back Again. I will try it a few months with my third-line-domains
just to see how does the service goes on.

This hosting it's pure crap. Was offline for over 72 hours. Now, their domain it's online again but my account (and others i know) are offline. The only guy that it's behind this never replies an e-mail.

My advice...Stay away from optikhosting.com

72 hours is quite big period of time. I think that it is not good point.

With a 72 hours downtime, I think it is time to move.
Unexpected things can happen at any time and we cannot blame the host for that, but they have the responsibility to give proper updates to their clients without pushing them into total darkness.

Guys,

Im also defrauded by this Ron Johnson.. I regret entrusting my websites to his hosting... There were so many instances their servers were down - BIGTIME and DDOS attacks.. Its just bad I didnt consider those as signals to move out ealier.. I later found out that there are tons of providers who offer lower fees with almost perfect service and uptime

Now I got 15 websites with databases and they are ALL GONE not even a single backup!

I regret trusting Mr Ron Johnson and his Optikhosting which I never recommend to anyone here at namepros

That's true. Not a single backup. My opinion / recommendation: stay away from optikhosting.com.

OptikHosting is closed. Ron gave notice of two weeks. If you didn't back up your files in that time frame, you are at fault. You are unfairly bashing people, and it's not right.

He gave TWO WEEKS notice.

Ron johnson's unprofessionalism

HEY GUYS

I want myself clear here:

First, 2 weeks notice is not exactly 2 weeks as Ron Johnson has been claiming.

Here are the issues:

First, the server was down during that period and he has never get back to me with the emails I keep sending him

Second, how can I access the server to backup when Ron the server was down and he gave me alternate access just days before he shut down.

Third, I have emailed him since I couldnt backup because of the issues on his server I requested him to just transfer my websites to his NEW server.. BUT he never got back to me.

Fourth, I told him I was moving to another state when this happened so I have very limited time to access my files considering also that I just got a day or 2 only when he finally gave me the correct access.

What gives to that? Is it fair?

I guess not.. Ron Johnson if you are reading this message you have ruined every trust I gave you.. You are no less than a fraud in dealing with your customers. Even DieGold can attest to this !!

Here's to the downfall of your business!!

I never recommend you to my friends here at namepros and everywhere!
