Can someone explain this strategy of buying names around specific features of tech and tech infrastructure? What proof is there that these kind of names sell?
There haven't been a lot of
4g sales in Namebio (well there have, but most of them are 4 substituting for "four" - not the tech)
And for 5g, aside from the two character 5g.TLD names (2 characters), nothing that makes me think that these are wise investments.
These aren't consumer-facing terms. Aside from early adopters, I feel like most people don't give a poop about specific aspects of technology. 4G or 5G or 6G, HD, LED, OLED, AMOLED (Never even heard of the term)... who cares as long as it works for them?
They care a lot more about the product categories (drones, laptops) and brand names.
Prove me wrong.
