A few months ago I became aware that you can use cloudflare just for dns for free. I always figured you would have to use their reverse proxy service too, but that is not the case. I must say that their DNS is really solid - I am starting to move all of my domains over to it. Using 3rd party name servers makes domain transfers easier (i.e. not using the registrar's name servers). Just wanted to let others know about this in case it was not common knowledge that you can use them just for DNS.
