It is all good. No, I was not going and asking. I just asked for my missing rebates for few days. And they asked why I am buying so many.

DynaDot - The Cashback program you mention applies to renewals? or only transfers incoming to DynaDot?

Actually I went down the line examining each extrabux DynaDot offer and I didn’t observe anything special or extra beyond what DynaDot currently offers to anyone. Unless...it really means that when I pay my monthly renewal fees for all my domains I’ll somehow get 20 - 25% cash back?

Recons has a point. You're marketing cashback programs to domainers fully well knowing that these same programs don't apply to domainers, thereby causing many to reggae at these registrars using these programs (which most likely have higher reggae prices than, let's say, Namesilo). In essence, you're causing people to spend more with a "semi-chance" that the cashback programs work in their favor.

But you're still being very defensive instead of apologetic, which makes these offers seem more dubious.

At any rate, if the dynadot offers cleave off more % from the 5.99 current special rate. Then at least that's something we can use...

In his defense, he might have not known about these intricacies. I was shocked myself. I have used ebates/rakuten for long and never faced anything of this kind.

    TC are idiots, basically.

    @xynames - yes, it does
    @Recons.Com - glad we're good

    @Jv1999
    1. I did not know about this limitation. It went fine for me all the time for much larger transactions. It is very weird that @Recons.Com got interrogated like that.
    2. The .co.uk doesn't have this limitation and I think it's the third time I'm mentioning that I prefer to use the .co.uk. I prefer it and I recommended it for different reasons but that's irrelevant.
    3. Thanks for the accusation, attack, whatever. Much appreciated.
    Apologies for conducting "dubious" activities.

This thread can be ignored. Everybody can pack up and go back to "paying less" with NetSol, 1&1 domain.com & co. if this looks dubious ;)

If anyone did follow the thread, chooses not to ignore it and listen to my advice to use the .co.uk versions, you should know that there is a £5 bonus if you sign-up using my link:
    https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/namedawn

I don't know how long it is going to last. It's usually a few days.

Do these services work for someone in India or are they US/UK centric? Can make domain website payment in USD/Euro/Pound, so that's not an issue.

    Please Clarify

@fastcool - judging by my referral stats many received cash back but people normally don’t share good experiences :)
Truth be told, I also had some issues with dyna cashback during the promo: out of 7 transactions that I had with them, only 3 tracked automatically and the other 4 I had to add manually.

@howudoin8 - There are no restrictions for India as far as I know.

Only few days left > you can get transfers for $5 with dynadot promo + extrabux.
Remember to preperly follow the cashback instructions and don't forget that you have to use the code COMHERE at checkout.

I registered at extrabux few days ago. Now all I need to do is login first to extrabux then go to DynaDot load my cart with renewals pay as usual and I’ll get cashback?

I’m not doing transfers just renewals. Any code I need to enter at checkout or the only requirement is login to extrabux first then go to DD then load cart, in that order?

Enter dynadot through extrabux while making sure you don't have other affiliate cookies for dynadot as that will most likely invalidate your cashback. I tend to use a separate (clean) browser for this purpose just to make sure.

PS: If you joined using my link a few days ago you should already have a $20 bonus (still valid). Enjoy ;)

Unfortunately I don't think I joined via your link, I think I missed that somehow. I would have rejoined with your link right now, but the reason I joined then waited to do the DynaDot purchases was I was waiting for the 25% (versus 20%) or maybe it was the cashback boost card to become effective which it was not effective on the day I signed up. So I didn't want to start that whole waiting process up all over again rejoining under a different email, so I guess I missed the $20.

However what I did do just now is follow your advice and use a "clean" browser that I have reserved for always deleting all cookies on each restart, and logged into extrabux then DynaDot then made the purchases. I paid two months of renewals so that's about $2K so let's see what happens! Between getting 25% back and all the welcome bonuses I should get quite a lot.

20 % vs 25 % is just cashback boost "card". You get it anyway, you just have to apply it :)
You get quite a few each month for various reasons regardless of new vs. old user. I never ran out of boost cards.

Sorry that you did not join using my link. You lost $20 and I did not get commission for referring you.

However, I do understand that for some reason, around here people are hesitant to use referral links. Whenever you post content with referral links, the "veteran" members have an urge to make you feel like you are doing something very wrong and they're the holders of the absolute truth :)

I waited a week for my Dynadot purchases (over $2K worth), and they did not add to my Extrabux account automatically. Three days ago I added them manually, which is a bit of a process involves a combination of copy/paste and screenshots and filling in fields, still show as pending nothing yet.

You probably had other dyna cookies. It happened to me too - I got the cookie from here (namepros) :)

That experience made me use another clean browser for purchases that can qualify for cashback. I think I mentioned that somewhere on this thread.

I also had an experience where the transaction did not track automatically (the reason is still unknown to me). I added it manually and it did clear after a (very long) while.

I used it on a browser that is set to delete all cookies and flash objects on each restart so when I fired it up and logged into first extrabux then DynaDot there were definitely no extraneous cookies involved but for whatever reason extrabux didn’t pick up the purchases. Anyway I’ll keep you posted still waiting for it to show up still shows pending four separate DD orders total over $2K.

Hmm but if it takes longer than say...weeks I won’t be able to apply any of these extra value bonuses or whatever they are called within my account to these purchases because the bonuses will expire.

Thanks for sharing. I signed up with Extrabux using the affiliate link.

A few days ago I tried to transfer a handful coms to Dynadot using their transfer promo. But their transfer fee was regular and I quit because if Extrabux fails I would overpay.

Yesterday I transfered a few mes and mobis to Dynadot who have the best prices in the market for these TLDs AFAIK.

Now wait and see. Extrabux says:

Well that was a colossal waste of time. Extrabux is refusing to give me any cashback because my DynaDot account is not a new account. Duh. As if anyone at NamePros' affiliate account is going to be brand new. Further, they are saying that the cashback is available only for the FIRST order on a new account, which is even more restrictive.

@blank unless you have some suggestion, I suggest you not create threads like this again, at least not without explaining how it won't work for close to 100% of us. So was the point of all this to get twenty bucks referral credit from each of us for wasting all of our time, or did you genuinely not know that this wouldn't work? Or is there something that we should have done differently here?

I mean, above you answered my question about whether the cashback applies to renewals at DynaDot
    [IMG]
    with a "Yes, it does"
and you also told @Recons.Com that it applies to renewals, which OBVIOUSLY any account that is being used for "renewals" could not possibly be new.

Anyway, just to make absolutely sure I was reading the email correctly I wrote back to Extrabux, playing dumb, saying that my Extrabux account is new. But I am sure that what they mean is...that my DynaDot account is not new.

Do you really think I would have wasted all this time explaining everything and putting up with a lot of arrogance just for the ~$80 I might get from extrabux? Out of those only ~$6 is confirmed.
Oh - and I think you were the one who actually didn't use my ref link. That's cool, I still explained how it works for absolutely no gain. I explained everything to the best of my knowledge and based on my experience. My experience includes being nice and polite with support when I need support.

My dyna account was new when I started using this. Since I made more than one transaction on it, not sure how new it was for the other transactions.

I still believe that getting those replies has something to do with the tone you guys used / info you gave when contacting support. The thing with new accounts doesn't make sense because they don't explicitly or implicitly mention this exclusion.

As I said many times already: I do prefer topcashback.co.uk because they have always been fair with me.
I used extrabux only because of the conjuncture of the dynadot promo but it worked mostly fine for me (exceptions also noted in this thread).

I've been totally open about this and I even mentioned that I had some issues myself with transactions that did not track.
I am going to remind you again, like these programs do, that cashback is not guaranteed and you should not base your purchase decision purely on the fact that you will get cashback. It's better to think that you might get cashback.

If you think this thread is out of line, please report it and have it removed, locked, whatever. I don't think I've done anything wrong from either perspective - ethics or thread rules.

LE: I wanted to also attach a screen shoot where renewals were explicitly allowed (I know I checked this at the time you asked and it was clearly stated). Now I see extrabux changed the info for dynadot, probably as a result of your email. Well done!
I did get a DM when this thread was new saying that I should have kept the info for myself because someone will manage to ruin the program for all of us. Guess it's too late now.

LE2: I self reported this thread asking for it to be deleted.

I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but the tone of your post is not worthy of any doubt.

And by the way, this is all I wrote in my inquiry
    [IMG]
and I sent in even just those few words only after waiting silently nearly a month for the cashback.
I find it particularly representative of your character that you would not only refuse to at least admit that you made a mistake in thinking that renewals will earn cash back, but even go so far as accusing those who followed your advice of being the cause of the problem.

As well, the final response just came in:

You must have known that Extrabux's policy is that only new affiliate accounts are eligible for cashback. As well, unless you're clueless, you must have known that any accounts seeking renewals could not be new. Duh. "Renewal" means - an established account. Not a new one. A new account couldn't possibly be seeking renewals, in that extrabux is saying that the DynaDot account must be created at the same time as the order is first made. And, even then the cashback is good only for the first order, no others.

Stepping back from all this, it's inconceivable - too good to be true - that anyone could get 20-25% back when paying just over cost (just over eight dollars per) on thousands of dollars of dot com renewals. I am certain that you have never received any such cash back yourself on renewals. I mean, where would extrabux find the money? Dynadot isn't going to kick them back twenty cents on each dot com renewal when they are already practically giving it away at cost.

"Reporting" this thread is childish, there is nothing "report worthy" here and you know it. All that came out of this thread was evidence that you're the type of person who accuses others instead of standing up tall and admitting you made a mistake.

Since archive.org does not archive this particular page, I can't prove that renewals were explicitly allowed and I can't prove how that page looked like when this thread was new, before our prominent members started to demand clarifications.

That being said, I am really done here.

Instead of trying to blame those who tried to follow your advice, or pouting and running home - if you may provide some evidence that Extrabux was paying renewals on other than new accounts, we could use that evidence to lodge a complaint against them for bait and switch.

You have been describing repeated cashback payments in your own account. Repeated means not just on a new account. Post some screenshots of those, give us your extrabux registered email address, and we may use that as solid evidence against them.

Yes - making accusations, complaints and demands worked so well in this situation...

I'm only going to post a payment that I happened to receive few minutes ago from topcashback.co.uk because cashback programs do work, regardless of what some think.
    IMG-1831.png

Those who signed up as my referrals are welcomed to DM me if they need assistance, advice, etc..
Those who signed up with themselves as referral can probably help themselves because they're smarter than I am, have better ethics than I do, are just better human beings than I am, etc..

I prefer not to post here anymore if all I have to do is answer accusations.

Your attitude isn't worthy of this forum, stick to DM.

If you're not going to provide verifiable evidence that we may use against Etrabux, then there is nothing more for you in this thread, you are right.
