My sales for the start of this year aren't record breaking thousands but I just closed another deal netting me around $800 in total profit since Jan with very little leg work.

First two I found end users for and number 3 was an offer out of the blue just 15 dollars below my reserve.

I also have had a pretty good start of the year... Most of my sales are private, had one through Sedo and most are end users contacting me via whois.

Had 3 "non payers" at Sedo for just under 10,000 euro - does that count?

Having a good year but not as much from domain sales as normal as I have been slacking in promotion in that department.

Last year I sorted through my domains and picked out a couple of the stronger ones to develop. One of them now makes $500-$1200+ a month on a consistent basis and slowly growing and the other one no income yet as just starting it but looks promising. I just set up some search campaigns and ordered some imprinted promotional pens etc... so see how that one goes.

My goal is to shift from having tons of domains for sale to having Max 500 domains for sale and a handful of profitable businesses. 3 are fully operational and #4 will be developed soon. Lot of work to manage but managed to strike a few partnerships with large companies to make things a bit easier.

Still receive domain offers on a consistent basis but due to working on developing my other projects think my patience is lower than normal and I tend to end negotiations on low offers a lot quicker. Submit a decent offer on something I don't have a use for and I'll let it ride, throw $60 offers on 1-13 year old domains and consider negotiations ended. :hehe:

I'm with you there. If the number is low I move on and I've sliced my portfolio by quite a bit and have been focusing on strict development this year.

I'm working on at least 12 fully developed and operational sites this year.

I haven't sold anything yet this year.. I haven't been active for a while.. I only have like 10 domains to my name but I'm sure a couple of them could net some cash.

Great Year for Development of Projects

I have turned away from domain sales, liquidating most of my junk and things that are not productive. I lost some money on some of them, but better than continually regging them and not promoting them for sale.

I have been able to focus my efforts on my investing blog which is really taking off well. I get so many offers for guest posts now that I rarely have to write for it in the last month, just edit content. Has been a great breeze and it was upgraded in PR and traffic.

In addition I have been putting the finishing touches on my new 'business.' It is offering web consulting, basic design and simple SEO for local/small businesses on a limited budget. It looks great and is turning out so well.

Last night I finally got on the Adsense bandwagon using some of my more passionate less investment domains, promoting their content with Blogger. It couldn't be much easier than that.

With these three, rather diverse vehicles and more to come, 2012 has already been filled with many great blessings and opportunities. Staying focused has helped so much.
