I miss some of the old games from my Amiga.. would be great to see some of the Psygnosis titles updated for the modern game consoles. Blood Money was my favorite side scrolling shooter.. I also liked a game called Kid Gloves!

Many years ago.

Not too many memories from it though.

I started out with an Amiga 1000, had an Amiga 500 at one point too, I think.. had alot of games for it but not much else. One of the best at the time for graphics.

My grandparents used to have one, waaaaaaay back in the day. Used to play on it when I was a kid, well, until they got a Mega Drive anyway!

I don't remember what games they had, they did have a lot though.

I didn't own an Amiga but i can strongly remember badly wanting one :) I had a Commodore 64 and a brother of a friend of mine had an Amiga.
Whe where like "Look at the graphics! It's so realistic like looking!" Compared to games you see you now on these game consoles it's far from it.

Yeah, i can remember those days :)

I always wanted a Mac in those days but couldn't afford one at $3500.. bought one last summer at a local thrift store for $4.

Believe it or not, I got my first Amiga 1000 by trading a Data General mono lunchbox computer for it.. man, did I get the better of the deal! But they wanted something portable and thought the Amiga was beyond what they needed!

Someone also traded me a Commodore 64 for a TI99 4/a.. another good deal for me!

Another Commodore 64 user/owner is in the house. I also had one. Commodore was a durable system. It was working up till about 5 years ago. Had it since about Christmas 1978.

Man, I hated typing in those long programs from the C64 magazines, only to find out there was a typo somewhere!

OMG I so forgot about that. But if anything it first taught me about basic programming skills. There was that one game that taught you to write prehistoric programming. Syntac/Syntax something like that was the error code. It was the first thing that got me interested in computers.

The next thing that I worked on the Radio Shack TRS 80's (aka trash 80's) in my senior year in high school (1985) pre Al Gore internet days. Learned about spreadsheets and things prior excel and word processing.

Ah memories of that ole system was great. I remember the D&D game on it as well as the golf, generic pacmac, shoot out, the funky tank game, baseball, pong and a few others.

ROFL the 2D graphics on Commodore........... lol everything so flat.
