Greetings,

The only extension with any premiums left is 5n .info, and ULTRA premiums for 6n .info. It's my guess that the Chinese invasion will soon hit that one very soon in their efforts to corner the numeric market. It's the only one left. They have already accumulated many 5n .info premiums over the last couple of weeks, but there is still a lot of meat on the bone, but maybe not for long. .info's are $3.17 with tax, and we can all corner that extension ourselves before China if you are interested. Before you say China is not interested in .info, start doing some random Who Is look ups and you will see that's not the case, and there is a just a small window to do this. They have already obtained all premiums in 5n across the board and 5n .info will certainly be next.

Don't get greedy and don't spend money that you don't have to do this. Like with domaining, this is a gamble like with anything else. I would be really surprised if the Chinese don't take them all very very soon. This game is not only about the extension itself, but is probably more-so about short premiums.

No prob if you want to sit this one out. But keep in mind, this will probably be your last chance to hand reg a premium numeric at 5n on any extension for the future in domaining.

Best of luck to all!

Ryan

This guy is using a .info for his hotel - http://www.888881.info/lionplay/login.jsp

Further - Out of those .info's, those same numeric patterns for .com are not in use nor for sale out of China. Are we sure .info is that bad?

I said early on that I believe ultra premium numeric .info will be a major player in the end of this rivaling .com and .net. My guess is that .info would look appealing to the Chinese and the rest of the world, regardless of what we think. What we think really doesn't matter in all of this. .info suits every site on the planet as every site provides info.

Funny. I remember when the guy from China just bought www.99915.info last week on 11/28 (I've been watching this closely), and he's already putting a site on it. They move fast.

And best of all, there are still a handful of premiums left (2 doubles within 5n patterns) as I've been pointing out. Numerous 6n ultra premiums, which may be even better. Who knows, but they're there for a very short time.

Do you guys know what you're talking about with .info? Second .info premium I just checked is being used by an end user in China - http://www.998888.info/

I can't really find a site being used by non ultra premiums over 6n. "ultra" premiums are the ones being used. Or for any 6n .com for that matter.

I'm trying to explain this, but people just won't listen.

Ok, I understand now, that's for explaining. You're saying the ones that people have bought and are in use are valuable. The ones available for hand reg, you shouldn't buy because there must be something wrong with them or they would have been snapped up by now. Something with the number patterns meaning death, destruction, incoming locust swarm?

No, actually. I'm saying those ultras patterns and premiums are currently being bought by China right now, and there is nothing wrong with them. We just actually have a couple weeks head start on this one, is all. They won't be around in a matter of days from now, possibly. Nothing wrong with them. We're just a step ahead on this one.

As I pointed out, 99915.info was bought by China within this last week. Yes, hard to believe that was still even available, lol. I saw it, but I suppose not a lot of others did.

This guy loves his numeric .info site - http://www.888777.info/

It's not all about China with these. Europe also wants them. The U.S. hoarded all of the other one word / name .com's years ago. The rest of the world wants numerics. And perhaps even.info at this point. Go figure.

Also looks like 888777.com is in use. Kate???? I thought end users didn't like these???

This guy from China loves his www.66655.info site. He has the same site up on 66655.com and not .net. Do they like .info more than .net in some cases? .info is in a category of its own. .net plays second fiddle to .com.

Besides lucky 8 what are considered to be ultra premium #'s? 6,7,8,9? or just 789? or am I missing some other digits? thanks.
6 is second best number :)
9 can be good and bad

Maybe it is. I'm not familiar with Chinese parked sites. He's killing it with those ads. :D

Also keep in mind that he bought the .com and .info, and not the .net. We also don't know much about parked numeric sites in China. This could be a goldmine for all we know. After all he's using a great numeric .com for it.

Look, my only point is that the Chinese like .info, and probably more than old second-fiddle .net.

My whole point was that they do in fact buy .info premiums. They possibly seem to like them more than other extensions from what I can see at the moment.

I'm really not concerned if anyone buys the remaining premiums. Just passing on the info. People should be thanking me for exploiting this thing before they're gone. These will all be gone in a couple of weeks, and you all would have looked in on .info shortly scratching your heads, and said, missed another one! And then back to the 7n .com buyout. :-/ Or 8n .com futile buyout attempt come that time.

I actually should have done better seeing how early I got in, but oh well. I think the buyout is probably almost done soon. It was just a real quick one, hence the topic "quick buyout". Randoms may even be okay with 5n as its so short, but I don't want to be responsible for anyone buying those. Any randoms over 5n in any extension may not be a good idea in my opinion.

Speaking of numbers, I haven't noticed a lot of Chinese sites with a string of 5's. And then I read that 5 is symbolic with crying, and profuse crying, lol. Dang, I have a ton of cry baby domains if that's the case. :-/

Ya Godaddy they're $3.17 with tax. That's another reason for this idea. People don't have to spend thousands, and there are still short ultra premiums available, and again at a low cost. Almost seemed too good to be true. Damn near a perfect storm, but only in a very short period of time.

If you go up to 6n, there are amazing strings of 4 digits available i.e 666616, 555515, etc..... from what I can tell, those should do very well down the road. Strings of 4 digits, or strings of 3 dig with another double in a 6n have a good future. Hard to believe those are just sitting there, but I guess that's why I felt compelled to start this thread.

I would take an ultra premium 6n info like that over a random garden variety 6n .com. I believe the Chinese may feel the same way. Hell, in China, there are so many extensions floating around that they're damn near all almost the same at this point. But only with the primary original and oldest extensions - and ultra premiums. Now, you start taking a random 5n on a .co, that could be a problem.

...at this point its probably time to throw in "Chinese government involved" conspirancy myth from your other thread :) ...or it can be Russians this time, anything goes..

Of course 989898.com is a dead URL not in use. .co nothing there and dead url. .biz nothing (as expected).

And then we have a full blown site at 989898.info? Anyone getting the picture yet?

.info may very well be the premier extension in numerics for Asia and Europe before this is over

Not necessarily. I mentioned in one of the consipracies that their government may very well accumulate them and resell for 10 x the value. So if the Chinese government invests 1 billion, they may very well make 10 x - 100x that. That's a tremendous amount of money and a smart move. So a good chance the Chinese gov't is behind the massive buyouts in a lot of cases, and then they throw up some rogue sites and maybe sell them. They also might buy them to prevent their own people from buying them, to control them and keep them off the web. It's the great numerics race between their government, and it's people, and us here at namepros. :-/

I'm afraid they're going to lose the 5n - 6n info race though. The dream team here is now on the move.

We learn fast. Let's just hope namepros brings home the Gold on this one.
