.tv Any word on the Dutch market?

I was just looking over some of my .tv's and remembered I've got two Dutch .tv's just kind of sitting there. Has there been much activity in the Dutch market lately?

I think my translation of these two are right -

Grappig.tv (funny)
Godsdienst.tv (religion)

Do you think these are worth holding on to for another year?

Well I just completed a terrible sale for Paris/Parijs.tv! A measly $60 at sedo

I lost approximately $70 on this sale. Sedo has been awful for me as of late, (took a chance on performances.tv and it too sold for $60) I do not think I will be throwing away great names any more.

No more push to auction LOL!

Guess the Dutch market is not on Fire.

I'm the buyer, thanks for a painless deal.
I'm not usually a buyer of non English domains but to get such a strong Geo for $60 was well worth a shot.
With it being very easy to travel between Holland & Paris then there will always be an audience & potential revenue for a Dutch language site promoting Paris using Parijs.tv IMHO (parijs.nl inspired me to the potential, maybe one day they will want to do a video version & come calling for the .tv :? )

Yes I checked a couple of online dictionaries before I regged it (I don't speak Dutch). Also checked Google Adwords tool (with language set to Dutch) and it gets average 201,000 exact match searches per month

Now I need to decide what to do with it

Nope, I'm trimming my portfolio. I dropped many multilingual names including educazione.tv, horoscoop.tv and a few others.

Unlike Spanish and German markets, currently the Dutch market is not favorable, IMO. Thats why I dropped horoscoop.tv.

BTW, It has potential. Good luck with it!

Quite surprising for such a small country....but Dutch people are known to be great businessmen...

Its a swedish spelling for "the vlog" sort of.


But i believe it could be used in the dutch market too?

Any dutch could confirm?

Many english words are adapted in Dutch, this is one of those

you guys should look to this http://www.nederland.tv/info/dot_tv_namen.htm. They have some great collections there. and not forget, Mr Ben van Dyk ( Farm.tv ) also owns other great Dutch keyword names.
