Any opnions on "dropscript" ?

I was looking at purchasing this but not sure if it is worth the money. I realize that the big site, i.e. namewinner and pool will get the majority of dropping names. But will this catch enough to be worth it?

I have written my own script for onlinenic. However it won't be a lot of work to write for any other. Right now i am not enom member so can't help.However there is very little chance that it will compete with registrar. So if a name is being tried pool/godaddy/namewinner/sn there is very narrow possibilty you will succeed.

It is a sever side script. It seemed like alot of money if it can't compete with pool. Now even if it had atleast a 5% sucess rate then it would be worth consideration.

My experience with godaddy is not good, a far as the drop service. Snap hasn't been doing good and pool gets very expensive for sought after names.

I would commission a good programer to make a custom to your needs. Shame if you spend a lot of moeny and you cant use it properly!

i rather spend on professional backorder which partner with alot of registrar to reg domain for you.

Typical name catching script usually only with use on 1 registrar and since it is external, the registrar limit certain number of queries from external source. If you use it to catch unpopular name which you are interested, it can still work since there are not much people snatching with you.

It definitely cant compete with professional backorder company for good names.
