Okay, An extremely high-profile domain Ive been watching for almost a year is dropping in a few weeks and I need to catch it. I have used namewinner to beat out alot of services such as SnapNames to get some of my previous domains, but this domain is easily several thousand dollars. Now I doubt that this company will let the domain drop, but if they do then what are several top websites where I have the highest chance of catching the domain for a low price with?

SnapNames Vs NameWinner???

You sure you beat Snapnames with NameWinner? Did you order the same domain with both companies and won it thru Name winner? In my opinion ( and experience) SnapNames is better than NameWinner. I may be wrong...I am waiting to hear what others are saying.

Pool seems to be most successful for high-value drops. If they catch it, and the names as valuable as you suggest, then it will probably be auctioned off.

I've been most successful with pool.com as well.

Also - be sure to email namewinner and get your credit limit raised as high as you think you need to get the domain.

I almost lost an auction at namewinner because they start you out with a low credit limit - you must email to get it raised and it can take a couple of days.

Well the thing im worried about is this domain is very high-key so Im afraid that unless I place a snap or something on it that it will hit several thousand dollars.

Though of course no guarantees, your best bet here would be to utilize all of the services mentioned ... with the hope that one of 'em will secure it for you, albeit in an "auction" process at either Namewinner or Pool. Does it have a "Snap" on it already?
My guess is it does (but unsure from the wording in your last post) ... but definitely worth checking out, IMHO.
Currently in RGP, not yet PD correct?
Best of Luck.

Nah, it wasnt avance, this is a one-word very high-key domain most likely a few hundred type-ins daily. Its not in PD yet, and ironically it doesnt have a snap. The name has been regged by the same company in 5-Year increments so I quess there havent been really been any chances to get it.

After all the excitement is over could you share with us what the domain name is?

I use Pool.com and NameWinner.com myself, they seem to be very good at grabbing nice names!
