Any experience with T.R.A.F.F.I.C.?

Hi everyone,

I have some names going to auction at TRAFFIC Miami and was wondering if any other domainers had experience with them, good or bad, and what the experience was. Did you make a sale? Did you feel ripped off? Have you bought a domain at TRAFFIC? have you been to the conference personally?

My biggest contention with the contract is the stipulation that they can collect their commission for 60 days after the auction so that if you get another offer outside the auction you will still owe Latona's 15%.

If you get an offer after the auction, just use delaying tactics till you come out of the binding period. Joking, LOL.

Your name would get an exposure to a bigger audience by Latona's efforts. They deserve some rewards, don't they?

I have my reserves set comfortably so the worst thing that can happen is they won't sell.

Thank you. It was sounding like a webpage to post domains for auction from the discussion. The cost to get involved is pretty high for this convention.

anyway, yeah i've been reading a few comments lately stating how the traffic auctions have become poor over time and that only a few (1-5%) of the domains actually sell?

some of my domains were accepted but i'm still thinking if I should go on ahead. eitherway, ppl are saying it's good exposure.

I was encouraged to list my names without any reserve. There was only "one" bidder. Now you can imagine what I got for those names.
