I have a domain name parked at Sedo called usabanknet.com.
Most people have commented that it is not worth much but I've been surprised to see that the site is averaging 30-40 hits a month but no clicks where I can make revenue (for me this is alot of hits).
I guess the banking news has caused people to search more about banks.
I'm looking for ideas of changing the parking in any way that would cause people to click which would generate revenue.
Your advice would be appreciated.

Maybe try different keywords and templates.

your traffic may be generated by bots so no clicks are normal.

if you are sure traffic are not from bots, low CTR is something usual these days due to economic crisis. You may try different keywords, templates etc. but they won't probably help you too much. Good luck

Check the details page in Sedo and see where the traffic is coming from. Adjust the keywords more to those visitors.

They are probably just bots.

I have a similar case with a domain parked at Sedo. It was getting more than a dozen hits a week with no clicks. This went on for more than a month, until I decided to point the domain to my webhost. That's when I discovered all the hits I were getting, were from bots. In fact, when I put a Sitemeter on it, the domain registered zero hits for the next 2 months. So the page views you see on Sedo for your domain, are practically misleading because they also count bot hits as page views.

To be honest, the 5 Adsense clicks I got in a week from one of my mini-site domains, earned me more revenue than all the 30+ clicks I got from 15 domains I parked at Sedo for 3 months combined.

I am practically using Sedo now just for the escrow service.

Traffic source

Yes you need to deterrmine the traffic source. Switch the domain over for a few days somewhere where to have a proper statcounter installed. You can see the traffic source and any search terms (helps spot good keywords).
