Another question
How do you structure a web site for a small mid-Michigan town. I've seen many sites and they vary greatly. Is there one way that really sticks out?

Really depends on what town and what "stuff" its famous for.
For example New York might have the statue of liberty and such, if you can't
find anything base it on the state.
