Animation program

What program do you use to make animated images like ad banners and other animated things?

It might be a bit tiring, but I would go with making a WHOLE bunch of images in photoshop, and then downloading GIF Movie Gear and putting all the images together making it into one image.... sound hard? THan do this:

You can get Flash MX or Swish 3D (or just Swish 2.0) to make a flash type file.

Easy animation (buttons, banners, logos, etc. but not big animation) can be done in Fireworks 4 or MX.. hope this helped! :kickass:

Swish is easy enough for a beginner and even good for those looking to get into Flash based animation. Gives you a good idea on how things click in Flash, shoud you decide to venture into it.
