I listen to the radio during the day while I'm working and specifically listen to the ads for typo or mispelled domain opportunities. I was just listening to the radio and heard an ad for Advantex Lending. Out of curiousity, I looked to see if it was registered. I was surprised to see that DomainSponsor had registered the name advantexlending.com. I went to the page and it's not parked, but has a "our page is not working right now" lander. Using whois.sc on that name, I see that DS also registered Advantxlending.com. Both were registered very recently in May 2005.
I don't know why, but this makes me curious. Is DS a registar? I didn't think they were. Are they possibly registering a domain and an associated typo on behalf of that company? Or do they plan to get in on the parking action themselves even though those domains aren't currently parked on the regular DS platform. Interesting to ponder...
