ok i have a chance to buy DD.AM for a few hundred should i do it?

It's quite a bit a year to register, though if you ran a website from it, you could get back advertising revenue easily (Take Last.fm for example)

However, if it's just to sell on, I wouldn't recommend it either.

I wouldn't do it.

.AM is Armenia, a country bordering Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia. Unless you have a business in the Caucasus I don't see the use. FM is much more known than AM in terms of radio broadcasting, so I don't think .AM can have the same success as .FM

Armenia also has a decent economy of itself, and I doubt if they fancy the thought that foreigners use their ccTLD for different purposes, whereas .FM can use some foreign incomes as they have few people and companies themselves to buy domains.

Use it for Armenian websites only. Not Radio AM.

I would pass as well. There are too many other domains that you could buy with that money that would be better bets. FYI as a comparison--LL.bz domains are going for about mid $xx right now.

i owned a single digit .AM that i sold last year for mid $xxxx I personally wouldny pay more than $150 max for aa.am if i was looking to resell. But who knows
