PLEASE AM A TOTAL NEWBIE TO DOMAIN BUSINESS.

I met a friend online who is into INTERNET MARKETING also, he said he makes $500 every week with his domain business, he says that its like a real estate stuff. My issue with him is he wants me to pay 50USD before he can teach me. Is there are GURU that can tell me how to go about this domain business for free or you can recommend an e-book for me, pls i need your help guys?

Once you have learned about domaining, check the current sales to have an idea about the market.

tell yo homey, to show you the money


by that i mean, tell him/her to show you the earnings report from wherever he claims the income.


if he makes the money from sales, there should be evidence.

if made from ppc, there will be stats.

then if he/she provides that info, then maybe paying them $50 would be a great deal.


having a mentor will give you a jump ahead of those traveling these paths alone and may keep you from being a victim of the side-shows.

i would advice you to read the forum, or if you are serious maybe go to a domain boot camp... http://domainbootcamp.com/ is from a member on this forum and some ppl say good things about it.

First of all welcome to the forum.

Secondly, come on, use your brain!
If you had a system where you could make guarantied $500 a week with some kind of domains, would you teach this for 50$ ?
If i had such a system with guarantied weekly income, i would use those additional domain names myself and make $1000 a weak instead of 500$ and instead of spend my time for $50.

Either this "friend" loves you more than his own brother, or he is trying to sell you the typical make money fast from home without any work bullsh!t.

Now something serious: all you need to learn about domains is out there free in the web (specially here in the forum). You need to spend time and read and learn. There are many generous people who post their special tricks and experience for free. But i tell you the truth: there is a high chance you will fail, like 95% of all people who start this .biz and give up after max. 1 year. Just look at the number of registered domain, the names which drop each year, and the number of active domainers who live from this biz. That will show you the reality. If you want to belong to the 5% who at least don't make loss!! and maybe even some profit, then you need to work hard, just like in any other business. Once you have learned the tricks and have some experience, it CAN be an easy way to make some extra bucks fast, but the way up to that hill is a rocky road.

what ppl can do is to give you pointers, but they can not show you the path, that's something that you need to find for your own, since the path is diferent for everyone.
