Selling Am I smart selling Chris.net at Namescon auction?

Chris.net was accepted in the namescom live auction and I accepted. The only caveat is no reserve! I am crapping my pants at the thought of no reserve but this auction is a huge opportunity.
Being still pretty new to this I am wondering of I made a mistake or took advantage of a huge opportunity.
Thoughts?

But remember, the namescon auction is just a bunch of resellers and domainers bidding.

So I tend to look at the reality of things when these type of auctions are all hyped up.

Resellers and domainers are going to be a GIVEN.

would be nice to throw in potential Endusers to the mix too with a Press Release

I think it was a prior TRAFFIC auction where nobody was posting the auction results, remember asking about it here. If this one starts down that road where they don't put domainer first, same possibility. I understand them wanting to get their cut but wanting no reserve just results in less good names up for auction. The ones I submitted, the reply was ok, but all at no reserve. Not willing to take that chance. You should want the best domains and let people put up reasonable reserves.

No, bad domains turn it into a GD auction....The domain in this subject is a good domain and probably should have a reserve. Especially considering that I am seeing some real garbage with reserves in the auction.

I tried for a reserve and they told me they couldn't list a .net with a reserve. I had to make a decision. I am not in a desperate situation. I make damn good money in the tech industry, this is my hobby but that doesn't mean I want to lose money. I want to move up to better .com's so I need to sell some of my names off before my wife kills me for spending big - she doesn't understand this business - although - I'm not sure I understand it sometimes either.

I also own stamp.org - tents.org and Perm.net = all with a broker until the end of January. As far as I know nothing is moving
This is why I am moving to .com only
Just because its a generic name doesn't mean you can move it unless its a .com
