I am seeing .eu names up for appraisal and for sale that most people would think twice before even regging the .com version.

Is this a symptom of the really good names not being available for one reason or another so domainers are regging any old garbage- I know we all do it sometimes but this seems to be really out of hand. JMO

BTW- I do have a few .eu but nothing special.

IMHO regging .eu domains is like burning $$$.

Yeah I see people registering .eu names of phrases and words that even .com is still available for.

I haven't touched the .eu names though I have watched the events. I might dabble in a few in the future, but I don't really plan on it. However, to answer your remark, I must say that I concur. I think you see this happening anytime with any new phase. The domain market has a lot of people in it now at the reseller level and when the next big thing comes out people seem to impulse register anything and everything. I'm perhaps guilty of this (though I don't think my past names in other "big things" have been too reckless).
