Alter domain appraisals: your thoughts?

Hello community, as you know, Alter is 'trademark search engine' now, they're also providing their own appraisal tool (alter.com/appraisals), have you tried it, what are your thoughts?
Personally, I've found such appraisal tools as toys, seems like their results are arithmetical mean from all auction sales with keyword or close to such keyword, and also they provide dramatically different results on same domain, for example, you can check it by yourself if interested.
So what are your thoughts on this tool, maybe such tools in general?

Even GD value a domain based on sales value of that keyword.other tld's. At least Alter considers the keyword length as well.

Real value of any domain will only be decided by the end users who need it.
