Alot of Searchengine bot activity..is it good?

I have the "show spiders" option turned on for my vbulletin and every day i get ALOT of spiders on my forum
In the last 24 hours..it shows:
Visitors (47), Yahoo! Slurp Spiders (64), AskJeeves Spiders (2), MSNBot Spiders (4), Google Spiders (1), Google AdSense Spiders (1)

is this good for pagerank and my website..or bad?

I think it will help you to index in a better way and might help you in getting better rankings. I don't think it will help you in page rank purposes.

I have to say that number of spiders is not to high

I have more spiders in many of my websites, and I think that for forums its good to be visited by spiders very often, because they update their content at each second, by the way, there is an option in google webmaster tools which offers you the option to increment the numbers of times the spider visits your site, check it out
