I scanned all Chinse premium (without a,e,i,o,u,v and 0,4) LLNN and NNLL .com and all are gone. I registered last two CP NNLL.coms that were left!

What do you think is the future of this?

I somehow think like Chinese would like shorter domains more than 5L - 6L domains etc.. And they wouldn't mind to have Numbers in it. I believe short meaningful hetero domains have some bright future.

these are just bidding accounts.. this simply means one of the chinese domainers/users put a higher max bid on e.g. chinese bidding site A running bidding account "beianx" (or whatever the winners bidding name was) than any of the chinese domainers/users did for the chinese bidding site B running bidding account "first"..

ps: good business for these chinese auction portals as well, they keep some % commission for each won domain, meaning the real user behind the put bid is paying even more than what we see as the winning bid..

I can confirm that all "chinese" llnn.com are already registered, so we are in a buyout phase for these domains.

Haven't checked nnll but seems to be the same. More than 80% of owners are chinese.

The definition of "chinese" is very precise:
Letters: No A E I O U V
Numbers: No 4 and no 0 in first position (e.g. 10 is fine, 01 isn't)

I have noticed more interest for these names at expired domains sites. I see this segment as a viable alternative for domainers that want to invest in short domains but want to avoid overpriced segments or non .com names. I've already bought a few of these but I'm finding increasingly difficult to get them cheap, so the opportunity window could be short lived.

A numerical domain starting with 0 is BAD from a chinese point of view,
but a domain containing or ending in 0 is good; as 0 means "WEALTH".

88 always does the best Nat, I have been trying to get one with 88 for close to a year, even when there was a v or a vowel over $800.

YH is one of those like JS not as good as JS but YHNNN and NNNN have sold for $300 plus, I picked up YH131.com luckily for $10.99 because it was a site where First doesn't hang out and put it on NameJet, I had First and Two Two go after it but only for like $90 when the day before YH132.com went for close to $300 on Go Daddy Auctions.

Up to about 7 letters it always translate into something in Chinese. I agree and think that NCCC and CCCN may have alright future. Btw, all the CCC8 have been registered. I took all the remaining 8CCC

YH has various meaning, such as YinHang(Bank), YongHu(User), YaHu(YaHoo),YueHui(date),
YingHan(a tough guy), YingHua(sakura) etc..

Chinese like repeat number pattern.
