Alexa Ranking

Hello,
Anyone knowledgeable about Alexa, and have expertise on why a site is having a hard time getting ranking? Willing to pay to get this done.

My site had a great rank, then we decided to improve the site with a major overhaul and now no rank. Its a ecommerce site with plenty of products (more than before) and text.

Alexa ranking is history. It’s no more relevant. In fact it was never relevant.

Alexa uses it’s toolbar to record the traffic. If the traffic comes from browsers that have Alexa toolbar installed, the site will be ranked high otherwise low. Who cares for Alexa Toolbar, nowadays? Maybe a bunch of webmasters in India and China.

I have to agree... not sure why Amazon got involved with Alexa.

You have to pay for detailed analysis. Using a sample of Alexa toolbar users and adjusting that to reflect the global web population is always a bad way of determining the popularity of a website.
