There was a comparable sale in 2010 on NameJet. AirlineJobs.co sold for $230.

Any more advice on what this domain could be worth?
I priced it at $500 and ran a Facebook ad (got a free $15 to try it out) with only maybe 30 clicks or so out of more than 5,000 targeted people.

Maybe they are the wrong audience, maybe I'm not patient enough. Or maybe my price is simply too high. I do have it open for offers on DAN however. I just want to be realistic.

It’s not an unreasonable price for an end user. You could probably get more if you find someone who is interested in building a brand with it. Sounds like you’ve already listed it on DAN and Afternic.
Thant’s a good start. It’s a decent two word .net, but I don’t think it’s really something a domain investor would pay much for. You could try some outbound marketing. Perhaps someone has a domain something like findairlinejobs.net, who would be interested in upgrading to a shorter domain.
