Isn't this on the "ai registry". If they don't want "Crypto" names, don't allow names with "crypto" to be registered.

There's nobody that sits around all day reading the names that people register. That's why they provide notice that they will enforce their rules concerning ones that are brought to their attention.

It's an automated system. What is the expectation? That people attempting to register names will sit there at the registrar site waiting for someone in Anguilla to wake up and decide to allow a name to be registered?

The rule, incidentally, is about running an exchange, and not about the name. So, someone is going to attempt to sell that name to someone who doesn't know any better, and who will use it for the obvious purpose, and THEN it will be disabled.

I do agree that it is worth pointing out these rules of 'usage' as opposed to just registration. The whole idea that the responsibility lays with the Registry is a no-go. Imagine how that would apply to TM names (Same rule sheet) just a more massive policing effort.

Still it's the same buyer-beware scenario, Yep you can hold it but don't you dare take the wrapper off
