We list a domain at Afternic.
Set price.
And we are done. No?
Of course no, because our price will not be visible.
After listing it, we can't continue to make some modifications,
and instead search for Afternic beta 2.0 link, maybe they will show that link, if they see fit.
And then choose "show price" option, and maybe they will show price.
But this is not the point of this message.
..............................
We forget it, and they will eventually list our domain.. No?
Yes, answer is no.
THEY CAN KEEP OUR LISTINGS in IN-REVIEW STATE FOREVER, AND NOT INFORM US ABOUT IT,
while we think our domain is listed almost everywhere via Afternic.
Instead Afternic collects leads, probably not inform us about them, or use them
to lowball elsewhere, or wait until the domain drops.
.................................
FAIR SOLUTION:
Since they are not interested in selling our domains via Afternic or its partners,
THEY MUST ALLOW US TO SELL IT ELSEWHERE, until in-review status is cancelled and domain is listed.
It is easy to do this, they should NOT collect leads, instead they should show a contact form,
and all contents of that contact form should be sent to us.
Otherwise there is an OBVIOUS BAD FAITH.
....
Not interested in selling our domains at your site or partners:
then don't pretend tha tyou do
don't prevent sales
don't give us false hopes
don't take advantage of leads without informing us
......................

Forcing us to park domains at their sites
and pretending that price will be shown
and pretending that domain will be lsited in a reasonable amount of time
and not sharing leads with actual owners

these are all unacceptable.

......

Namepros, you should approve this quality post asap.
I'm not posting anything unethical.
Just the opposite,
I'm complaining about the most important problem in domain industry,
namely GD's arbitrage attempts (and worse)
thanks.

Agree 100% , the more they control the market the worse their service goes... a coincidence.
As if the old infinite "auctions" weren't damaging enough, some buyers would just wait and wait, for nothing.

I think it's a bug, so some domains are stuck forever in the "pending review" state.

Solution: review your Afternic listings, delete the pending review domains, then add them again. Wait a few days.

The issue will be resolved automatically for some domains.

If not, just contact their support and ask them to verify all the pending review domains.
