Afternic massively overcharged on the recent transaction – 30% commission for doing absolutely nothing. I myself found the buyer, and he simply clicked on the Afternic listing. It is shameless and unjustified to charge 30%. It is 10% higher than their parent company Godaddy is charging, which is also too high for doing nothing, by the way. We’ll move our inventory to Flippa or Sedo (or maybe eBay).

Flippa is dead. Sedo or Atom are your best choices in my personal opinion. You should still leave your names listed on AN to avoid listing conflicts but price them higher to counteract the higher commissions. That's what I'd do anyway. Good luck!

Check if you have this "deadly" combo -- your Afternic account has the Boost feature turned on, and your nameservers are pointing elsewhere (NOT Afternic approved nameservers).

For me, I have Boost turned off (save 5%), and any names pointed elsewhere (Not Afternic), I have removed their BIN prices to avoid the possibility of a BIN sale on Afternic and getting hit with their commission rate for names not using their nameservers (10% upcharge for not using their nameservers).
