Afternic Customer Service Bad?? Anyone had experience?

Hello all,

4 days ago I purchased bazaar bucks on afternic to unload some domains. I accidentally clicked twice and payed twice through paypal.

I have emailed customer support twice and they say they most likely respond in 24 hours. Nothing so far....anyone have experience with their support??

I had the same issue and they did get back to me. I have had overall good exeriences with Afternic. :imho:

They are not 'snappy', but they usually reply within 24 business hours. I think they've been late before, but they usually reply. If they have missed some it is rare.

But I've not had that problem.
When you close a domain they leave it highlighted at the bottom of your domain stack and you can't delete it. You have to request that they do.
This happened to me for a domain that I unregistered rather than sold,
and I asked them to remove it with a request yesterday, and today
they did and replied to my e-mail.

Overall I've found it acceptable, but they don't work in a hurry (but who knows how big their queue is). You can also call them if it is urgent, or finance related, which I did a year or two ago for some reason. You can get someone quicker that way.

I'm from Europe and I naturally use Sedo to buy my domains. I can say that the Sedo French team is really perfect.
When I read in the forums what people say about afternic, I'm not really willing to give them a try. But I recently had the occasion to test many times the Afternic bazaar & to get in contact with Afternicdsl also. Guess what: excellent service & communication, just like Sedo. I think that we post only when things go wrong, but that's not fair.
