Afternic, have you seen their "Showcase"

Some really nice names but they have included some real garbage not worthy of a domain showcase , of course it is JMO

Wot I wrote about this awhile back I agree with you I thanked Afternic because they listed LCD.tv there and helped sell it there was 18 names in the showcase all top notch, now some names are way below top notch IMO

And they are the better ones, I am sure you are happy to have them there and widely promoted . It is some of the others that I would not be happy to have my premium names associated with.

Incidentally, of three premium names that I had listed on the showcase for some time I recently sold each of them privately when they were no longer on it

Yeah, they're listing my Rep.cc - It's a one-word, 3-letter domain, but it's .CC --- I was surprised they accepted it.

I had three lowball offers on two of the names in a period of almost 1 year. As I said, I sold all three myself when they were removed, by simple marketing.

I am probably as guilty as most domainers of sitting waiting for offers but now and then I run a promotional campaign which often as not gets results.

Why don't I do it more often? Lazy probably :td:

They seem to like the one word generics and generics in general, even when they are on the relatively unpopular extensions. Perhaps they're worried over trademark issues.

SORRY AFTERNIC but SAMUELALITO.info is not a showcase domain. WOW going down hill fast IMO that SHOWCASE was great it is now looking like a joke, again IMO
