Afternic and GoDaddy Aftermarket

Domains that are at Afternic also show when searching Godaddy aftermarket - I wonder if there's a point in keeping them at both places?
It's just more work when you want to adjust the pricing for example.

Godaddy falls under the Afternic reseller program. The only way around this would be be remove your Afternic listings, and resubmit via GoDaddy. Any updates you make to your Afternic listings should automatically update your GoDaddy listings too?

Yes, they do. The purchased it from NameMedia Inc in September 2013.

I don't think so, no. NameMedia owns BuyDomains which was MM's company of which he sold.

I recently sold a name via afternic but Godaddy got involved with the transfer. The whole process was a mess. Afternic later told me that I should only deal with afternic - even the transfer process.

Definitely list at Afternic because you can get into the Godaddy Fast Transfer program.

If the name is priced at Afternic, and it meets the other conditions, then if someone searches for it at Godaddy, your price will show up - as if it's available to register at Godaddy.

You won't have to even worry about transferring the name.

There is an issue with getting names on to the Fast Transfer program, even though they meet the conditions. See different thread.

I already have my names at both places.
I want to remove everything from GD aftermarket and only keep them at Afternic - that's why I'm asking if there's any downside.

No downside to listing at AfternicDLS only, as long as you have premium promotion selected
