Personally, scratching around i have noticed good $ sales on .us and .info so perhaps it is the name itself and not the extension that is of prime importance. I guess we have to take in other factors such as residual traffic, backlinks, what other extensions taken etc etc.
Well stated..AdoptableDomains said:I think once you past .com, it depends on the name and type of site that fits.
.net - best for networking, forums and discussion, etc.
.org - best for non-profit or other "organizations".
.info - best for informational sites which can includes sales information for commercial sites.
Hehe..hawkeye said:I don't get this reasoning, as it equally applies to .org or .anything. One takes the alternative extensions, why??, because .com is gone! So to say taking .net is because .com is gone, but taking .org 'doesn't' mean that same thing, is somewhat self delusional.
Same as my order.kubativity said:This is the order:
.COM
.ORG
.NET
.INFO
