Affiliate Programs Setup Question

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this so if not can a MOD please move to correct place.

I would like to start an affiliate program on one of my websites. Can anyone give me some thoughts on how to get it advertised for cheap. I looked at CJ and they want alot of cash deposited in their account to sign up. Are there others that may be cheaper? (the only one I know of is CJ) Or another way to advertise.

I am looking for a low cost way to get the program started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

shareasale.com is a good one, no bulk fees, just pay as you pay to your affiliates....small startup fee...and good network

If you sell an informational product, I would recommend Clickbank.

To me shareasale looks like a merchant directory. Doesn't produce any sales
