Is there any demand for names like these ? Sales ? I don't think so.
æ is a distinct letter in Scandinavian languages, but in the rest of the world people can't even type it since they don't have the character on their keyboard.
In French a few words use æ (especially Latin words), but æ is not present on French keyboards, so people simply type ae, then the spellchecker may convert it to ae.

Generally speaking, IDNs just don't seem to sell. Recommendation: stay away.

æ is a distinct letter in Scandinavian languages...
Meaning you have a unique 2 letter .com (LL.com) :)
Also, Google translate is pretty good these days, so you could join a couple forums and talk about food in their lang.

Normally in the "Domain Appraisal" section I would never say the obvious "it is worth what you can get one person to pay", but in this case...

Summer vacation in Norway next year for your family?

I live in Norway myself - but we have no words resembling the domain names... However -never say never ! "Æ" & "Z" combined... hard sell as Norwegian companies tend to favor .no extensions and not neccessarily .com - and even if they were to go abroad with a product -would they then use an "Æ" in countries when launching at a .com domain?

Just my five cents - but do hold on to them -you never know!

wesley, Now that you have the "local realities", I would call it brandable. Häagen-Dazs, for example is a made up word.

Häagen-Dazs is a nonsense word that, although it sounds Scandinavian, at least to English speakers, it resembles no actual word in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, or German. Häagen-Dazs ice cream is not made in Scandinavia and never was. ~culinarylore.com

Yummy! :)
