I've had militia.net accepted for the Moniker / Snapnames Premium Summer Auction. I submitted it with a $2000 price, and they want to run in with no reserve ($300 minimum).

I run the risk of selling it for $300, I get $255. I wouldn't be happy!

But according to Moniker, a low reserve gives it the best chance of a good price.

Anybody had experience with this scenario?

I am in the same position. Can somebody please weigh in on Monikers auctions. I am thinking of
placing JNJN.com in their auction with the no reserve ($300 minimum). Would this be a good a good bet?

Well, if you keep it at a high price, no bids and no sale.

Go with the minimum.

That way, you know what you will get at the very least if someone bids.

I've decided to lower my asking price to $600 and see if they will start it at that.

I doubt if you run it at $300 minimum, no reserve, you are going to get what you want/like for this domain. I would stick to your guns and run the risk of no bids, no sale. But that's just my opinion.

They accepted the $600 minimum, so I guess there's advice there for others in the same situation.

JnJn,com and militia.net end in 8 hours at Monikers summer auction.

Ended, no bids. However, most of those being auctioned received no bids. I think less than 5% sold.

I think moniker have completely lost their touch with how they used to manage auctions. I think it's probably a waste of time putting your domain in any future Moniker auction.
