I recently purchased the domain SliverCoins.com for $11, initially believing it was SilverCoins.com due to a rushed acquisition. Upon closer inspection, I realized the difference in spelling. However, the domain has been registered since 2007 and was previously used as a parking page, with the former owner listing it for sale at a minimum of $1,000 before it dropped.
While "Sliver" has a valid meaning (a small, thin piece of something cut or split from a larger piece), it is a less common term. That said, NameBio data shows that SliverCoin.com (Singuler) sold three times—$1,800 in 2014, $1,600 in 2015, and $1,500 in 2016, suggesting some historical value. I now have the option to return the domain.
Would you recommend keeping the domain and listing it for sale, or returning it in the grace period?
