AdSense Sign Up Problems

Years ago I tried to get Ad Sense for my domain names for sale website. I was turned down for 'too many domains' as I recall. This was several years ago when Ad Sense was new. I just gave up and resigned myself to parking and just didn't really monetize a couple sites that I built. I am currently building a real site that involves a little money and wanted to try again but don't seem to be able to get to first base even.

When I sign into my Google account, I get this whne I go directly to the Google Ad Sense front page and log in:

No AdSense Account
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as you have not yet completed an application.

When I fill out the application, I get:

A user with the email you specified already exists
Please select a different Google Account login to access this account.

Unfortunately, I am unaware of any other account and the user is ME. I believe that I ran into this another time when I looked into this matter (and gave up).

Should I just make up a new email? I'd rather use my main one. Also, the primary site is new although I have owned the name for well over a year. Do I need to wait to apply?

I think that I know the answer to this but is there any other service for a decidedly NON-porn, etc. site other than Ad Sense? I wish the parking companies would just let their links be used sans parking to avoid this mess but that is another story. I'd probably just let Sedo have their share if that was possible rather than deal with the hassle that Ad Sense seems to be. :td:

Well if there is a Adsense account for that email then why don't you use forgetten password option to get the password and check whats in that account ? Probably account belongs to you. if it works use it.

If you open another adsense account while having one they will ban you later, both accounts. So better first sort out about this one with your email address first.

Also if you have enough content in your site and getting traffic. you have a good chance getting accepted.

Your problem seems to be quite common. User signed up but did not complete the process and now the application is in limbo. Coupled with Adsense non customer service nowadays, and it becomes a permanent limbo thing.

You can try posting your problem at the Adsense forum itself. Maybe you might get someone who can help you there.
