AdSense: How many per page links, blocks, referrals

I'm looking for a definitive answer here. I know I can only have 3 adsense text blocks.

Can I add ad links + referrals as well? I'm pretty sure the TOS says I can, but not positive.

Do you guys know? 8-X

Yup you can.

Just because you can pack in that much doesn't necessarily mean you should! I have far more success with less vs more.

Face it people hate landing on a page featuring more ads than text copy. They are far more apt to hit the back button or close the page than bookmark your website, read your text copy, tell someone else about it, or click your ads, if you overload it with adsense ads.

I've heard arguments for both.

And have tried them.

If you are targeting the end user, more is more.
If on the other hand you're targeting webmasters/pros, less is more. :p

Actually, this is the current info:



* Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
* A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
* Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
* Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.
* AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results.
* No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
* No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email.
* Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
* No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.
* No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.
