Adobe Cs3 Scam ???

:td: I recently purchased (although not paid for yet) an Adobe CS3 master collection on Craigslist.I told the man I wouldn't pay for it until I checked it out. The package arrived today with no manuals just the dvd and case. It clearly looks like a bootleg copy.
The print on the DVD case and the DVD are not a commercial grade quality.
I'm sure the Adobe company being a graphics company and all would have a clear bright printing on their packaging.
can somebody please tell me if I am correct with the adobe printing quality.
Also what to do now?

Its Adobe. They virtually dominate the print/photo editing world. Just put two and two together...would such a company (any big company for that matter) have low quality prints?

I just downloaded cs3 from adobe.com free for 30 days. I believe it is 400$ if you want it after 30 days. You also have tutorials on Google and also You can go to Staples or something like that and compare.

I guess you could simply return it to the person? At least you didn't pay for the software...I'm pretty sure if you had purchased a genuine copy you'd be able to identify it at first glance. All the best.

You probably bought a OMC. Once you get going with it you'll probably notice a few of the key tools in PS arent available or dont work. Been there done that. I buy straight off adobe now and just upgraded from cs2 to cs3 last week. $212.00 but well worth it.

Thanks for the replies, I am sending it back. luckily, I didn't pay for it before hand. I'm pretty sure this guy is making a small business out of selling pirated software. I can't prove it but he seems very sleazy.

I would recommend you to purchase this on eBay if you want a cheap dea, otherwise purchase directly from Adobe.
