Looking for someone to modify my custom script to include "Opt-in" option in the preferences area for each account, with (optional) a filter added in the admin control panel. This is the problem this feature will address:
Problem:
I want each user to be able to opt-in to a weekly giveaway the site will have. A yes/no (1 or 0) value is needed, with (optional) ability to filter and reset values. The reason for this is that I would rather know who would want/benefit from the prize and not have a spambot or inactive account be chosen by mistake. This would minimize that probability.
Possible Solution:
Add a checkbox in the preferences area that lets the user opt-in or opt-out their account for any giveaway. A filter added to browse who has or hasn't opt-in and the possibility of resetting all opt-in's back to "No" (or 0)
The script runs on PHP and MySQL. Looking for fast work and would like to know my options (how much cost for what you can/will do). I have other coding projects I'd like to add, such as integration with bbpress and more, your work would have you considered for those projects with more pay.
