I made a post about this earlier however I would like to get the issue more attention as it completely baffles me. I recently starting using adbrite and well, I'll let the screenshot below speak for itself.

Look at that! With 793 ad zone views and 1 click...

I have earned a total of $0.01!

Adbrite supposedly pays a CPM / CPC combination, both of which ad up to barely a cent.

Any comments? D-:

i've had really low rates as well. historically, they've been at the payout level of bidvertiser, although at bidvertiser you could get the occasional (relatively) high click. the one thing adbrite is better at is getting advertisers to "directly" buy adspace from your site. they also have new picture/video ads too which are different. your best bet for contextual would be ypn/adsense though.

I used to get really low rates too, but now I've unchecked the auto acception of ads, so now I accept only the not so low paying ads, started to do it few days ago, so I'm still testing if it's better to accept the ads yourself(there can be lots of ads, so it take time) or let them auto accept all the ads.

I would use adsense however it is a forum which rewards users with prizes, making it against the adsense rules.
