AdBrite is on the move again it seems. In the beginning of this week Pud from AdBrite posted this on his AdBrite blog:

We're about to launch 3 new marketplaces, in addition to our existing "text ad" and "interstitial" marketplaces. Details for forthcoming, but here's a picture of our super-secret whiteboard

One of the new marketplaces is for ordinary banners. Im happy that the banners finally receives a bigger space on AdBrite and I am sure it will be a great success. Further more I hope they will offer CPC banners and not just the CPM system they have today.

The mobile (?) marketplace seems weird for me. If you have more information or know anything about this, please post a comment.

But the marketplace that will be the most excited is surely the video marketplace. Don't you agree? Well, we will see how everything turns out.

If by this they mean similar to what you see on certain flash game and flash movie sites, then I reckon it should be popular.

It'd be interesting how they would implement this though...

Mobile Advertising seems to be an untouched area of the market. Specifically WAP areas of the market, not like the PSP or Smartphone's which can display normal web-pages and Javascript. This could be extremely popular with MoBloggers I think!

Banners have always been there, but it looks like they will have their own section finally! And i'm glad too, I'd rather see banner ads and flash animations than text links all the time

AdBrite will release Inline ads soon

We're about to launch a bunch of new stuff. One of the first of these launches will be "Inline Ads". These are ads that appear within the text of your site. Certain words will be double-underlined, and when the user rolls their mouse over one of these words, a targeted ad will magically appear.

We'll be rolling this out in the next few weeks. Check back here for updates, and instructions on how to enable Inline Ads on your site...or fill out the little form on the left and you'll get an email when this blog is updated. If you're an advertiser, you don't have to do anything. CPC Keyword-based ads will automatically appear in targeted Inline ads.

This is exciting move. Online advertising is finally moving forward without having to wait for Adsense. The video ads look particularly interesting.
