Awesome .co Portfolio Abdul. Best Of Luck.
Congrats on acquiring domains that were of interest to you. However, what you did is called "price anchoring". You've seen the high prices and now you justify their value based on those prices. There is a reason why all of them sold that particular year. Everyone thought .co was going to be the next big boom. The same happened with almost any decent extension. Check .mobi sales for example. Anyhow, I think .co names still have some good value, especially one-word domains like you have. However, you may be holding your breath for a while to get the prices that you mentioned. I don't see many companies springing to spend $xx,xxx - $xxx, xxx on .co domains. However, is it possible that you'll end up selling one or more of the names for that much? Of course. Either way, I wish you luck and I have no doubt that with good marketing skills you can easily get your money back and then some.
I am not saying .co was not doing good. Its going well, But not five figs or six figs.
There were a few.co sales in XX,XXX recently. Simply driving prices. Ultimately some of our friends would loose money if they started buying mediocre names for 4 Figs or 5 figs
Thank you William for your feedback and I appreciate that. I actually liked some of your points
Usually I don't buy or sell domains based on the past sales. I even rarely check what are the past sales but I already knew about some of those .CO sales which got a bit of a coverage which is why I checked for all others and mentioned it. My buying process is different than many others.
Just look at some of the reported .CO sales here -
https://www.gritbrokerage.com/notable-sales and https://www.gritbrokerage.com/other-notable-sales and also NameBio.com which will give you an idea of how this extension have been doing since the launch.
I'm very much confident of selling for a lot more than what I paid. I'll be sharing whenever I'll manage to sell any of them in the future.
Amazing names! I am so impressed by you!!!
Very nice names! Well done.
Do they have standard renewal price?
u have good point about that year values but yer so in not even same galaxies when u compare co to mobile or basically other noncom...that apparently u cannot even see which galaxy yer in.
Amazing list @AbdulBasit.com !!
Hosting.CO This domain is a winner! if you use it correctly you could easily generate up to $50,000 monthly.
Not standard but premium. I'm paying under $25 each for both standard and premium renewals but they've some $3 difference only.
50K a month easily? If that's the case and you're interested, PM me for more details and we might work together onto this.
I have sent you a message on linkedin.
You missed HoReCa .co better than gin , brandy or holland at least as reg. in other extensions
That's a nice domain. Do you own it?
Congrats AbdulBasit !!
Amazing domains ..
I just google it says it means "Catering" in dutch. I have no clue why it is registered in 200+ tlds
Damn.. And it has all the things screams premium....
Linkedin has 11000 company results OMG, lol
And .tv sold for 8599 and even .gr sold for 1644 WTF lol
....yeh ...the .tv was sold by me ..& they are also many other sales that not recorded by NB ( know by me , secret ..sorry ) or recorded as 2 keywords ehoreca .com for example 3400 $
Horeca is a general term that is used all around globe , yeh can say start from Netherland/Holland but it's used global
Yeah.. Could be.
Hospitality industry is something I am not aware of at all, and maybe that is why I never came across the term.
Maybe it is like BFSI in Finance...
You learn something new everyday...
How many more TLDs you own?
HoReCa is an acronym for HotelRestaurantCafe, quite general for the entire accommodation/catering business
I think it means
Hotel Recreation Catering
Hotel Researvation & Car (rental))
@Ted.T have right
Yes. I learnt it today only. I never heard about it before
Anyway, let us not derail this thread anymore.
Sorry @AbdulBasit.com bro
@AbdulBasit.com you have seat on gold...excellent domain name...buyer will surely locate you.
Is there any hope for autoprice.co
No worries. As far as there is something to learn/constructive, all is good. I've learnt myself as well.
So looking at these purchases, it looks like .co is your second favorite after .com.
You perhaps like .co more then .org and .net right ?
Separate names with a comma.
