Premium domain name Acquire․com has transferred into GoDaddy and has likely been acquired by @agazdecki for a potential rebrand of MicroAcquire.com . Acquire․io was asleep at the wheel and now lost the chance to upgrade even though they had the funding to buy.

A little over a week ago, Andrew Gazdecki, CEO of MicroAcquire, posted a tweet suggesting his company would “drop the Micro” from its brand name because it “has grown and matured into a marketplace that facilitates multi-million dollar startup acquisitions frequently.” Doing so would mean the company secured the high value Acquire.com domain name:

He "joked" that it was $2,000,000 the CEO later confirmed it was $200K only.
