Did anybody use register.it ?

Domain register is 0.40 euro
Sound good. But i never heard about it

What do you want to know? I am Italian and I use often that Registrar.

The price you said is valid only for transfers (.it , .com , .net , .org), not for new registrations.

well, now don't exaggerate.... it's a good Registrar, yes...
but if it wasn't for the good offers, I wouldn't go with them :D
at the end of the next year of course I will transfer away all domains I transferred in these past weeks, because I can't afford to pay 35 euro per domain ..... to stay another year!

50 cent to transfer a com and update its expiration date of another year... its impossible to beat now!!
and the admin control panel is very well done, you can do a lot of things, change nameservers etc...
I am gonna transfer all my .com domains there and make GD cry!!

I just hope that they will not make me pay to transfer out a .com when it will be needed :D
cause I've heard that some registrar ask money to release just the transfer code... but I am quite sure that this will not be the case!

Of course i will contact with their support but member's reviews are very important for me.

And also i wonder why nobody use register.it ? i can not see much people who use them.
That is strange for me. Okey they are cheap, 0.49 euro transfer is amazing offer. But why nobody use them and not have much review ?

They just don't use it because foreign users are probably skeptical about choosing an Italian registrar.... another problem is that after a year you will have to transfer all of them out again, because the renewal fee will be really high there

Their €0.49 offer is still valid, but it's for EU citizens only. I guess that's why more people aren't using/reviewing it.

Support replied fast, but provided inaccurate information that offer has no limitations. After chatting more, I was told that offer is limited to Europe only. In the end, it turns out it's not even the whole Europe, but just EU

I'm not skeptical because it's Italian registrar, but you have to wonder, if they don't state this important limitation anywhere, what else are they hiding? Transfer out fee? Auto-renew that you can't disable unless if you call them?

If I didn't ask, at which point during purchasing process would I find out that I'm not eligible for the offer? After they charged €35? No thanks.
