A week from going live!!

Thanks to you guys I finally stopped procrastinating and designed my website. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I am almost finished putting everything together. I have a website with about six pages and one of the pages contains a link to my forum. Is there anything that I need to make sure of before going live with my forum and website? How do I cut down on spam? How do I cut down on the possibility of being hacked? What should I have in place regarding security? And last but not least, I have a phpbb2 forum on my website through my host & fantastico. What configurations should be in placed?

If you are using phpBB2 , you should try adding some anti-spam mods, seo mods, and other things related to the topic of the forums . But you should try phpBB3 , the new version of phpbb2 witch has anti-spam mods installed allready . Ore you mybb witch is the vbulletin sister :lol:
