A warning about Chase credit cards

I bough some domains and paid with a Chase credit. Chase declined the purchase, I lost a 1-word keyword domain. I called them up and told them to expect more charges from the same merchant. They said that they will set their system so that it will definitely accept charges from that merchant. They also told me that the card is ready now for me to just buy that same domain again! :hehe:
This morning I wanted a charge to go through so I called them in advance to tell them that there will be a charge coming form a specific merchant and I need it to go through. I had to go play hockey and when I got back, I found out that Chase had declined a transaction yet another time in spite of me specifically calling in advance.
I guess I will have to add funds in the account with this registrar, but I don't use them that often. Calling in advance specifying the vendor and the accont when they have already accepted charges from me from the same vendor in the past should be enough, no? Are all card companies equally incompetent? Or do some of them actually work?

Wow, you really have a chase complaint, a chase issue, almost a problem with chase. I sure hope you don't have to call the better business bureau .

Lol, hope you get some good search engine results.

I told them to go kiss my A@@!! :talk: Lowered my interest rate because they said I had excellent payment history.......then less than 4 months later they triple it? First I flipped the bird to the cable company.....now Chase. :D

I should go down to get my foodstamps, peanut butter, cheese and baby formula and make a HUGE sucking sound as I re-collect the money borrowed from my daughters to keep the corrupt banks afloat while raising my interest to fill their coffers again.

And then there's bankruptcy. If Henry Ford went through 3 automotive venture bankruptcies before his factory finally took on profits.... I should be able to.
@Chase:P

I can't remember how much the banks got of our money to stay afloat exactly but I think it was like $30,000 per household but don't quote me. That is alot of money to have to hand over to criminals who then make money from us directly by robbing our front pockets as well as our back pockets.

You're not the first person to complain about them!

I know someone who they all of a sudden stopped letting her sign checks - she legally uses a shortened form of her first name and they lost the documentation for this that WAS on file with the bank they took over. LOST it! Then they made her go through a big song and dance to fix THEIR error.

My business account is/was also at a bank they took over. I don't keep a lot of cash in the account because I don't have to, but I keep a balance above what's generally considered a reasonable and customary amount to avoid service charges. It's not enough for them - they have the highest min. balance I've seen on a small bus. account so I'm getting hit with a $14/month service fee! Only ways to avoid the fee involve increasing my account activity with Chase (like get and use a Chase credit or debit card - no thanks!) I forget ALL of my options because they're not listed anyplace on their website and they deleted the message customer service sent to my account from my inbox after 60 days!!!

I despise them. Needless to say, I'm shopping for a new bank!
