A Strange pattern

Hello Friends,

I have noticed a strange pattern, when checking for availability of certain foreign language generic keywords , the results are

ccTLD TAKEN
.org TAKEN
.biz TAKEN
.info TAKEN

BUT

.COM is AVAILABLE

it doesn't make sense does it????
have you experienced anything similar?
i thought that .com is the default standard TLD that overrides the value of any other popular keyword, should i take advantage

i have also seen often that just the ccTLD is taken but .COM is still available,
i understand that people associate more trust with the local extension hence they reg that first but i can't believe that the .com's are still available

check from different sites sometimes a domain available on netsol is not available on enom or internic and after some hours or days it will also be not available on netsol itself, this is because sometimes whois servers do bullshits in search their database, in one case you find that cctld is not available but tld is available is the characters in domain name, 7 - 8 characters .com available in many cases as they are not available in ccTLDs
