i am trying to set up the website directphotographers.com and wish to change the site logo to one i have designed which is exactly the same size.

My basic knowledge told me to go to images and replace the logo with mine and rename it exactly the same name... which i have. However it still shows up the old logo no matter what i do! i have looked in the header.tpl and it tells me that index_02.gif is showing (the image i replaced) but when i download that file it is my picture not the image showing on the site.

Any ideas on how to fix will be greatly appreciated

Regards

This is what it looks like here. Is that the new logo?

If that is the case you just need to clear the cache of your browser to see the new picture, or use a different browser altogether. Browsers keep a copy (cache) of files on the Internet so that they display faster.

That is because you saved it with "GIF" extension but it is not a gif image. Open it in Photoshop or whatever application you use and save it as gif.
